Before a company grows on the outside, something has to change on the inside of the person leading it. That's the thesis behind all of my work: extraordinary results are created twice — first inside the leader, then in the world.
What gets created first, on the inside? The standard you tolerate. The decisions you make — and the ones you avoid. What you believe you can execute. None of it shows up on a dashboard, and all of it determines what the dashboard will show six months from now.
Before I trained leaders, I lived this firsthand. I rebuilt my finances, my relationship, and my health using the same principles I now bring to founders and CEOs.
What I teach, I lived first.
In practice, with founders, that means working on two levels at the same time: the mental pattern behind the decision — and the decision itself. When the leader moves, the numbers move. It's also why I say success is 80% psychology and 20% strategy, and why every session moves across four conversations, not one.
If you want to see how this works in practice, the essays on this blog are a good place to start. If you're ready to do the work, schedule a conversation.
